Cargill donates $150,000 towards poultry health lab in Arkansas

Cargill, Incorporated has donated $150,000 to build a state-of-the-art poultry health lab at the University of Arkansas, matched by Tyson Foods, Inc. as part of a US$1.3 million funding to revamp the school’s agriculture farm.
The new 4,200-square-foot facility to be called the Cargill Poultry Research Center will examine different types of new antibiotics for poultry.
While the Center will examine alternative forms of antibacterial protection for poultry, it will also look at possible new solutions.
